This award is presented each year to a regular education student who promotes acceptance, positive attitudes, and high expectations, toward classmates with Down syndrome, by showing outstanding compassion and friendship in and/or out of the school setting. Our hope is that this award will help develop more interactions and friendships among schoolmates. Please nominate a non-special education classmate who has shown these exemplary traits toward your student with Down syndrome.
